Telephone: (345) 945-3800
Fax: (345) 949-5825
E-mail: reservations@westin-cayman.com and mention you are with the Tree Care Industry Association.
Where do I fly into and how do I save money on my airline reservations?
Attendees should fly into Grand Cayman (airport code GCM). We suggest you check pricing both online and by calling airlines directly to compare, or book through your travel agent. Book early since seats are limited and restrictions may apply.
We also suggest you consider redeeming frequent flyer points to offset the cost of travel. Many credit card companies allow you to charge your daily expenses to the card and later redeem them for airline travel. Please explore these options.
Please note there are three Cayman Islands; WMC takes place on Grand Cayman.
Is there a shuttle from the airport to the resort?
We have not arranged for transportation but taxis are available at the airport and are also readily available from all resorts. The hotel is approximately 20 minutes from the airport and currently costs $23 US for up to three people. There are also several places on the island that rent cars.
Will I need to exchange money before arriving on Grand Cayman?
The Cayman Islands has its own currency. Currently the CI dollar has a fixed exchange rate with the US dollar of CI$1.00 equals US$1.25. The US dollar is accepted throughout the islands so there is no need for visitors to exchange their US dollars into local currency.
Will my cell phone work on Grand Cayman?
We suggest you contact your cell phone company for information regarding any usage charges you might incur while on Grand Cayman. The area code for all of Grand Cayman is (345).
